Did you see that boat that just floated by?

I am pretty sure Noah's ancestors were on it!

Good gravy!

And the "rain, rain, rain... came down, down, down..."

Such screwy weather. But I love it... well for the most part.

It snowed in the high country... and has rained and rained here!!! So much that yes, we saw a few pairs of animals running after said boat! Crazy!

Not sure how much rain has actually fallen but its more then I have seen since I lived in California. Even in South Dakota! But my yard should be nice and green by next week ;)

And sometime before noon we heard this CRAZY lightening bolt hit something nearby! I mean the loudest sound I have ever heard. It shook the windows! Well turns out... it hit Iona's friends house just down the street! Started an electrical fire (a small one) but no one was hurt. Thankfully. Our road was blocked off for at least an hour... with the 100 fire trucks, E.M.T.s and police cars. It was nuts!

My energy is rotten today. I still feel like I have been awake for centuries! And I just want to sleep. But of course, I can't ;) My body wont let me...

Instead I did this:
  • Made Chicken Noodle Soup
  • Watched Olympics
  • Read Blogs
  • Made a B-Day Present for Iona.. that is cute cute cute
  • Listened to some of an Audio Book
  • Drove 45 miles to/from picking up Iona
  • Ate at Subway for dinner instead of me wasting more energy then I had...
  • Watched Nim's Island with the kids (cute cute movie... I wish there was more!!! I loved Jodi Fosters character :))
  • Made a Taggie Blanket for "Baby S"
  • Watched More Olympics... Saw Phelps win his final gold...how cool (even if it was spoiled by my DH--- Which doesn't stand for DEAR at the moment--LOL).

And I am sure I did more... but I can't recall because after all it's 11:04 at night ;) and I am exhausted.
